Cookie policy

This website sets no cookies

You will not see a cookie banner here because there is nothing to ask about. Tolbrook’s website sets no cookies, runs no advertising or analytics tools, and loads nothing from any other website.

Last updated: 2 October 2026

Two settings kept in your browser

Two small settings can be saved in your own browser’s storage. They exist only to remember choices you make on the page, they never leave your device, and we never receive them.

  • tb-theme: the Light or Dark look you pick in the footer. It is saved only if you pick one; choosing System removes it.
  • tb-breaking-dismissed: the news headlines you have closed in the band at the top of the page, so they stay closed.

How to clear them

Clearing this site’s data in your browser settings removes both. The site still works without them; it simply follows your system’s look and shows the latest headlines again.

Nothing from other websites

Our pages load no scripts, fonts, images or tags from any other website. That means no other company can set a cookie, or read one, through a visit to Tolbrook. Our automated tests check this on every change to the site.

When you pay

When you buy a service, you move to Stripe’s own checkout page to pay. Stripe sets its own cookies there to take the payment safely and to prevent misuse of cards. Those cookies belong to Stripe and are described in Stripe’s own cookie policy on stripe.com.

If this ever changes

If we ever add a cookie, we will list it here first, with what it does and how long it lasts, and we will ask before setting anything the site does not need to work.
